Michigan's NEW High School Graduation Requirements
The State of Michigan has now set the number of credits in each subject area, and, in many cases, specified the specific courses that must be taken in English, mathematics, science, social studies, health/physical education, the arts (visual, performing, or applied), and world languages. To assist local districts and parents in understanding these new requirements the Michigan Department of Education has created a presentation to introduce you to these new Michigan High School Graduation Standards also known as the Michigan Merit Curriculum.
