Linking families with babies to community programs and resources.
What can you expect from Baby Links?- Baby Links is a resource for families of young children interested in programs or information regarding their child's health and well-being.
- Newsletters are mailed at specific times as their child grows.
- Some families receive a hospital visit, a home visit, or a phone call from Baby Links when their baby is born.
By linking families to community resources and programs, families will have the opportunity to:
- Learn more about child development and parenting.
- Build strong parent/child relationships.
- Learn more about immunizations and other health related issues.
- Connect with other families that have newborns.
- Help their children be ready for learning when they go to school.
New parents have so much to think about when their baby is born! Baby Links wants to simplify things for you by being your link to a network of resources and activities for you and your baby. In addition to your circle of family and friends, there are many wonderful resources available to help and encourage you in the most important and challenging job you will ever have – being a parent! Our staff, two teachers and a nurse, can help you identify the activities that are right for you based on your needs, interests, and location. There are several ways you can get linked:
- Visiting with us during a hospital or home visit.
- Talking with us on the phone.
- Responding to the interest survey sent in our newsletters (also located in various offices around the county).
