Great Start Collaborative

The purpose of the Great Start Collaborative is to assure a coordinated system of community resources and supports to help all Allegan County families provide a great start for their children from birth to age five.The Parent Coalition is an integral part of the Great Start Collaborative.

Children, learning and fun go hand in hand at AESA's School Readiness Program.This is a free Preschool for 4-year old children in the Allegan, Fennville, Hopkins, Martin, Otsego, Plainwell and Wayland school districts.
Great Parents, Great Start
Great Parents, Great Start provides free monthly playgroups and parenting workshops for families in Allegan County.

Imagin ation L ibrary
The Imagination Library offers free books for Children under the age of five in Allegan County. Each month a new, carefully selected book will be mailed in your child's name directly to yourhome. For more information about the Imagination Library visit their site. Succeeding Together Achieving Results (STAR-formerly Even Start) is a free family literacy program serving Allegan County parents who: desire their high school diploma, GED, or need significant improvement in their math or reading skills,and have at least one child under the age of eight.

ZERO TO THREE is a national, nonprofit organization that informs, trains, and supports professionals, policymakers, and parents in their efforts to improve the lives of infants and toddlers.
