Our Mission

"To provide opportunities which will allow learners to confidently apply math, science and technology to benefit the total community."

Our guiding philosophy to accomplish this mission:

  • All involved individuals are learners.
  • Learners are educators, students, members of the business and industry community, as well as the community at large.
  • The applications of science and math are practical, relevant and reflect the realities of the total community.
  • Hands-on applications emphasize problem-solving, decision-making, experimentation and discovery.
  • The benefit to the learners is measurable and contributes to the Center's continuance.
  • Technology serves as a fundamental support to the application of science and math.
