The possibilities are endless to furthering your career after completing this program with the well-rounded entry level experiences you will achieve in cabinet making, plumbing, electrical, framing, roofing, masonry, and more. This program starts building the small things then moves to the BIG stuff. Plenty of real building opportunities here.
Course Description:Students learn safety and use of hand and power tools, basic skills involved in the construction industry; masonry, electric wiring, plumbing, heating and air conditioning and work from blueprints. Students need math measuring skills as well as a mature, responsible attitude; good work ethic and willing to work in all weather.By the end of the first year, the students will construct sheds and more advanced structures. All aspects of construction will be covered.Second year students get real world experience by building residential homes.Instructors:Andy Bishop – 1st Year
