Opportunity is knocking on the door! Earn up to 17 college credits while learning the latest CAD software. Use the 3D printer to have your computer generated images come to life. Students will learn to create technical drawings, animation and architecture by using programs such as AutoCAD, 3ds MAX, Inventor, SolidWorks, and Revit. Apply your design skills to build and test cars, bridges, and remote operated vehicles.
Course Description:
Create projects using the most up-to-date 2-D, 3-D, and animation software.Students learn how to design bridges and buildings, as well as design parts and assemblies. Game designers will also learn basic animation and rendering. 17 Direct College Credits (Level one certification) available through Lake Michigan College. Students should be able to work both individually or in a team. Good math skills are recommended.
