Welding Technology
Welding is a process of joining metal. Metals are heated to their melting point by electric arc or gas flame and merged together with or without filler metal. Welding is the most efficient method of permanently joining metal.
Course Description:Build and repair metal parts; work from blue prints; learn arc, gas, MIG, TIG and oxyacetylene welding; work on layout problems and fabrication projects; work with math and various metals. Student must have good attendance, be able to work well with others, have a genuine interest in welding. Hard workers will be recommended for jobs by the instructor.
