Hillside Learning Center Campus
In service to its eight local districts, Allegan Area ESA offers services and programs for students with significant disabilities in the areas of physical needs, cognitive/learning needs, sensory/communication needs, transition needs, and behavioral needs. Principal Amy Tomlinson and Assistant Principal Madeleine Jackson oversee the Hillside Learning Center.
Hillside Learning Center (West Program at the Main Campus located in Allegan) provides programs to educate students who are physically and/or cognitively impaired. The classroom teachers, along with a nurse, speech therapists, occupational and physical therapists, aquatic instructor, music therapist, technology specialist and various specialized teacher consultants all join together to plan and provide a free and appropriate public education for each student.
Hillside Learning Center (East Program at the Main Campus located in Allegan) provides programs to assist students who exhibit pervasive and persistent behaviors. These programs help students better understand their behaviors, make more positive choices and return to their local school district successfully.
The Hillside Annual Report is part of Allegan Area ESA Annual Report.
