Collage of Adults in Welding and CNA Night Classes

Adult Education

  • Career and Technical Education (CTE) is not just for high school students. The Allegan Area Educational Service Agency (AAESA) is committed to delivering continuing education and training opportunities for adults of all ages at the Allegan County Area Technical & Education Center (ACATEC).

    Education

Technical training in a variety of pathways and our partnership with Lake Michigan College allow adult students to complete short-term training or earn an associate’s degree right here in Allegan.

    Leadership

ACATEC and AAESA staff members collaborate with postsecondary partners, community organizations and state agencies to promote learning and improve access to affordable and meaningful educational opportunities.

    Service

ACATEC seeks input from employers, adult students and other stakeholders to develop programs that increase employability, improve the quality of life and build a stronger local economy.
