The partnerships between each local school district, Allegan Area ESA, and the Michigan Department of Education's Early Childhood Grant create several family support opportunities through each local district Family Coach.
Mommy Monday (Fennville & Plainwell locations)Mommy Monday is a group of moms, who meet bi-monthly, because they want to learn more about the benefits of the 5 Protective Factors within the Strengthening Families Framework. The group's focus is on creating positive relationships, strengthening resiliency, and encouraging others in our community. Free childcare is provided for children ages 0-5 years old on-site.New Moms are welcome to attend anytime.
Play & Learns
Kids ages birth-5 will have a great time with their parents enjoying music, activities & story time! Come explore your child’s many developmental domains: sensory, gross motor, fine motor, social and language. Information related to early childhood topics will be shared at each playgroup, as well as, connections to community resources. A FREE book is provided at every playgroup for each child.

Parents Connected Meetings (Fennville & Allegan locations)
We offer FREE childcare and dinner for each meeting. There will be a family craft and discussion time for parents on a wide variety of topics, such as: child development, school readiness, stress management, and behavior.

Free Developmental Screening
Family coaches offer free developmental screenings as well as strategies and tools to support different developmental milestones using the ASQ (Ages and Stages Questionnaire) and/or ASQ_SE (Ages and Stages Questionnaire-Social Emotional).
