Welcome to the Transportation Department at Allegan Area ESA

Allegan Area ESA provides specialized transportation services to all local school districts and center-based programs within Allegan County. We have professionally trained and certified school bus employees who use the utmost care transporting your students to and from school each day. Our fleet is professionally maintained with a commitment to safety and reliability. Our office staff strives to provide prompt and courteous services to all students with integrity and efficiency.

The Allegan Area ESA District consists of approximately 1,833 square miles (825 land/1,008 water), that are serviced by vehicles currently located at five local school district transportation centers (Allegan, Fennville, Otsego, Plainwell, Wayland).The vehicles travel more than 500,000 miles annually for specialized education. We are honored to receive an on-going Certificate of Excellence – Pass Rating in the annual School Bus Safety Inspections conducted by the Michigan State Police.
