Martin Middle School completed their Trash Dash competition at the end of May. Trash Dash is an event in which students design, build, test and race model battery-powered cars made from recycled materials. The event was sponsored in the past by the Allegan Area ESA as a countywide competition. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year the event was limited to district-level only. AAESA provided the event materials for students to build the cars. Several of the students took their cars home as a memento of the race.
“This is the highlight of our Physics unit every year," said teacher Peter Boyd. "Thanks again for your support.”
