Plainwell Marching Band Competes in State Finals

Plainwell marching bandThe Plainwell High School Trojan Marching Band had quite the competitive season this fall. The band represented PCS well with outstanding performances in several competitions, including the Rockford Band Invitational on September 25, the MCBA’s Flight IV competition on October 9, the Jenison Invitational on October 23 and the West Shore Invitation Semi-Final Competition on October 30, where they secured a spot in the Marching Band State Finals in Detroit!

On Saturday, November 6, the Trojan Marching Band had the honor of performing at the State Finals at Ford Field. The band competed against 11 other bands in their division from all around the state of Michigan and found themselves in 4th place overall after an exciting show! This trip to Ford Field was the band's first return to the State Finals in two decades and their first ever performance at Ford Field. Congratulations to the Trojan Marching Band for an outstanding competitive season and for their excellent State Finals performance at Ford Field.
