As a district, we raised over $10,000! All the toys that were donated go directly to the patients staying in the hospital over the holiday season. When loading the toys into volunteer's vehicles, you start to realize how impactful these donations can be for a family. The idea of being in a hospital is a difficult thought on its own, let alone during the holiday season and during a pandemic. The amount of joy and pleasure to be able to donate toys to people that hit a bump in the road and giving them some relief is indescribable. There is no greater gift than helping others in need. As NHS, we had the pleasure of donating, delivering, and celebrating the epic toy drive. Remember, it truly takes a village, and we showed that.
