Allegan Area ESA -

Congratulations to the Early College Allegan County students for completing their Associate of Arts degree from Lake Michigan College. The Class of 2023 had the opportunity to be recognized at the Pinning Ceremony on April 28 at the Allegan Performing Arts Center. Students selected Keith Thompson, Lake Michigan College Public Speaking instructor, to be the Keynote Speaker. Students Olivia Clearwater, Jenna Marsman, Zach Bailey, and Kendalyn Haskins shared memories, inspirations, gratitude, and well wishes during their speeches. Thirty-one students will go on to further their education while seven students are ready to enter the workforce full-time. Between one-time and renewable scholarships, students reported receiving over $300,000 dollars.
