Hopkins School Resource Officer Deputy Keefauver recently met with all Hopkins 5th-grade students to discuss the topic of bullying. Deputy Keefauver believes it is never too early to provide students with tools and education to prevent bullying in school. Topics included the emotional effects of bullying as well as types of bullying including cyberbullying. She addressed the best ways to report bullying and ways to empower students to stick up for themselves and others in a proactive way. All students took an anti-bullying pledge.
