We're presenting

– Allegan Area Educational Service Agency (ESA) is proud to announce that three of its leaders, Superintendent William Brown, Director of Learning Rebecca Longcore, Director of Specialized Instruction Rebecca Reed, and Associate Director of Specialized Instruction Programs & Principal of Hillside Learning Center Amy Tomlinson have been selected to present at the 2025 IIRP World Conference: Artful Integration: Exploring the Art and Science of Restorative Practices, in partnership with STARS Nashville. The international event will take place October 19–22, 2025, at the Chattanooga Convention Center in Tennessee.

Their breakout session, titled “Weaving the Fabric of Community: Restorative Strategies for School Transformation,” will explore how restorative practices can reshape school environments by strengthening communal connections and promoting inclusive, supportive learning spaces.

“We are honored to share the work happening in Allegan County on a global stage,” said Superintendent Brown. “This is not only recognition of our team’s dedication but also an opportunity to learn from and contribute to the world’s leading thinkers and practitioners in restorative education.”

This prestigious event draws educators, counselors, administrators, and community leaders from across the globe to explore innovative, evidence-based approaches that heal harm, foster connection, and build resilient school communities.
