ATTENTION: Accessing our Hillside Learning Center and Educational Service Center building location on Thomas Street.
Please allow more time for traveling in downtown Allegan and to our locations due to the MDOT construction on M89. Traffic and walkways will be impacted starting Monday, March 25th through August 25th. 🚧
Hubbard Street will be the only entry closed to traffic from March until the end of August. Water, Chestnut, and Walnut streets will be open as well as the Second Street Bridge for incoming traffic.
In addition to a resurfaced M89, the project will result in:
· a roundabout at the intersection of Cedar, Ely, Hubbard, Jenner, and Marshall streets
· safer pedestrian walkways including crosswalks and new sidewalks
· two-way traffic on Hubbard Street
· improved Hubbard Street sidewalks, lighting, and other infrastructure to match the recent downtown streetscape improvements
This graphic is intended only as visual guide to accessing the Downtown Allegan area during construction. The full scope of the project extends the boundaries shown.
If you have any questions, please contact us at 269-512-7700.

Let's get books into the hands of Allegan County children! Please consider supporting the Dolly Parton Imagination Library through the Allegan County Community Foundation.
